The Gant School of Music & Jazz (GMAJ) saw the need for a youth jazz ensemble in our community shortly after hosting our first youth jazz workshop. Since its inception, the community support has been amazing! The ensemble received rave reviews from audience goers of Winston-Salem Downtown Jazz Series on Aug 12th 2022.
To cap off our first round of performances, the GMAJ Youth Jazz Ensemble will be the opening performers for the John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival in Highpoint NC! "The Students are excited and ready to perform. We are just glad to be in a position to afford them this opportunity." Titus Gant Executive Director.
